Marnus Labuschagne has been dropped from the three-match ODI series against India, with in-form Queensland teammate Matt Renshaw earning a shock inclusion.
The right-hander was left out from the ODI squad after scoring just one run in his two batting efforts during the top-end series against South Africa in August. Labuschagne has a top score of 47 in his last 10 ODI innings.
The batsman has played 68 one-day internationals and amassed 1,871 runs at an batting average of 34.64 runs per dismissal, but will now continue to press his claims a Test recall ahead of the Ashes starting in Perth on November 21.

Australia’s three-game ODI series against India commences on October 19 in Perth, before the rivals play five T20s from October 29.
